As a Video Journalist at SB Media Group, you will play a crucial role in creating captivating and informative video content centered around the automotive and technology industries. What you’ll do:
- Produce, shoot, and edit high-quality video content covering automotive and technology topics.
- Conduct in-depth research to gather relevant information for video scripts and reports.
- Develop creative and engaging storytelling approaches to capture the interest of our audience.
- Conduct interviews with industry experts, professionals, and enthusiasts to provide unique perspectives.
- Attend events, product launches, and industry expos for on-site coverage.
- Write clear, concise, and compelling video scripts that effectively convey information to a diverse audience.
- Collaborate with the social, editorial and production teams to ensure consistency in content and messaging.
- Maintain and operate video equipment, ensuring it is in optimal condition for shoots.
- Stay informed about the latest video production technologies and tools.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and innovations in the automotive and tech industries.
What you’ll have:
- Proven experience in Video Journalism, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Degree in Journalism ideally with an NCTJ qualification
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
- A strong passion for and deep knowledge of cars and technology.
- Excellent storytelling and scriptwriting skills.
- Strong research and interviewing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
